Julie Morin, MA, LPCC

Plymouth Office

Approach: My approach to therapy is a person-centered approach stemming from a variety of theories including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), behavior therapy, EMDR, while taking a strengths based approach. I am dedicated to helping my clients identify their goals in life and teaching them skills to reach these goals while learning how to navigate and manage life circumstances.  I specialize in providing individual therapy and DBT group therapy to adolescents and adults.

Interests: My professional interests include working with adults and adolescents who struggle with a variety of symptoms including PTSD, depression, anxiety, mania, ineffective behavior patterns, difficult life transitions, and low self-confidence.
Favorite DBT Skill: Radical Acceptance is one of my favorite DBT skills. I believe that this is one of the most difficult DBT skills to use, but finding a place of acceptance in difficult situations can be an empowering skill. I have observed many clients find this empowerment once they learn how to accept and let go, which creates a path towards finding peace and serenity.
