Emotion Regulation


Feelings are just visitors, they come and go. In the Emotion Regulation of DBT, you will learn to respect your emotions and let them provide motivation for problem solving. You will learn to use skills such as fact-checking, accumulating positive experiences, and opposite action when experiencing a difficult emotion, and the PLEASE (treat Physical illness, balanced Eating, avoid mood-Altering drugs, balance Sleep, Exercise) skill to take care of your body and mind.
