Director

Since the Department of Human Services began covering Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in 2011, I have had the distinct pleasure of practicing on the ground floor as a state certified provider. My vision is to raise the bar of excellence in the way group and individual DBT services are approached, and it is my passion for that vision, and for this modality, that led me to open a clinic of my own. I am now able to immerse myself in effecting long lasting change for each client in a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable environment where participants can learn the skills needed to manage overwhelming emotions, control self-destructive behavior, and improve interpersonal skills. Once clients have processed through trauma to a place of stabilization, I continue guiding them through the second stage of DBT, which includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. It is not enough to merely help clients survive. Rather, I am dedicated to helping them thrive.
